Sports 1 & 2 on Nov 14 2010
KEEN's core program is called "Sports," and takes place in a gym, with a variety of sports equipment available. At a typical KEEN session, after a group warm-up, athletes and their coaches spend an hour playing with basketballs, jump ropes, scooters, parachutes, hula hoops and more. Then, the group comes back together and each athlete, aided as needed by his or her volunteer coach, tells everyone “What they did today that made them very Proud!” Sports 1 serves children 5-12 years and Sports 2 caters to children 13-19 years.
KEEN Sports takes place at Gompers Habilitation Center, 6601 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
